ABOUT US
Energy-access, for those who need it the most.
We are an energy-access company that works in developing markets, with a special focus on India. We build scalable and replicable solutions for the bottom of pyramid. Our solutions focus on maximum social impact, balanced with long-term financial viability. Our real-world pilots are backed by a rigorous methodology based on 4 parameters - technical performance in field conditions, acceptance by the community which they serve, real empathy for the human needs of the community, and financial viability.
Successful pilots are moved to a revenue-generating and cash flow positive stage, for eventual replication across an ecosystem. Each replication at scale is achieved through a dedicated vehicle owned and managed by Seafire and our investing partners, with its own separate, dedicated management team.
We are inspired by John Lennon and Steve Jobs, by EF Schumacher and Ian McHarg. We love to imagine, but always remember that "real artists ship". We believe nature can teach us a lot about sustainability, and that genuine sustainability is an impact-oriented activity rather than an image management tool.
